After the Aug 2014 flood, my basement was completely submerged, which required us to have total duct work cleaning and sanitation. Safety King was recommended by two friends. We found scheduling any storm clean up to be a bit of a wait, and only waited two weeks for our service. The tech, Marcus showed up before the scheduled time and explained everything to us, and went straight to work. The entire process was approx 3 hours. Sporicidin was applied to prevent mold growth, and required us to leave for only one hour. Upon returning home the home smelled much better. Great service, professional tech, and would recommend company to others. P.S. thanx Marcus for playing with the dog too!

Our ducts hadn’t been cleaned in the 60+ years that our home has been around, and Safety King did a great job of getting everything cleaned out. Bill was kind and professional. He even took his shoes off when he came into the house. I enjoyed seeing the before and after pictures – well, I’m not sure if “enjoy” is the right word, but it was helpful to know. If you have an older house, there is probably some very nasty debris in your air ducts. If you’re looking to get them cleaned, definitely go with this company.

A.J. and another technician (not the two who were listed as being the ones who were supposed to be coming out to service out ducts) showed up RIGHT on time! We showed them where all of the vents were throughout the house – only one required moving of a piece of furniture (which we knew ahead of time), they decided coming in through the back door would be most efficient, and they got to work. The only thing we asked of them was that they not let either of our 2 cats outside if they saw them (the cats hid the whole time, so it wasn’t an issue, but the guys wer vigilant anyway). It took 3 hours from start to finish of everything, including the dryer duct cleaning. They showed us the before and after pics (and quite honestly, there wasn’t much difference in the house ductwork). But the dryer duct REALLY needed to be cleaned out, and I’m so glad we had the whole thing done anyway, as we have allergies and asthma, as well as some other health problems in the house. I’d rather be safe than sorry! Thank you for the great work!

The day before my appointment I received an email confirmation of my time, and a picture of the two employees who would be arriving at my home. On the day of my appointment they arrived on time, were polite, and explained the cleaning process and some of the challenges with my system. They were very tidy and took a great deal of extra time making sure the job was well done. I would do business with them again.

I just purchased my home and was a little skeptical about getting the ducts cleaned but thought it might be a good idea since the house is 75 years old and have no idea when it was, if ever, done last. Have to say, what a nice experience and thorough!! Definitely ask for Bill (William) Teipel. He was pleasant from the second he arrived and walked me through what would happen. He answered every question I had and never once made me feel stupid. In fact, he told me what was happening all the way through so I knew soooo much more than before he arrived and the cost was minimal for the 3 hours of work he did to ensure their cleanliness and the equipment in the furnace. Got a great deal on dryer vent cleaning through Angie’s List. Pete and Scott called to tell me they would be a few minutes later than was promised (much appreciated). They arrived, not much after originally expected time, and got started. As usual, with my house, there were some unforeseen issues that cropped up. The dryer vents under a crawl space to the outside and some separation had occurred so no venting was going to the outside; venting was in the crawl space area. They cleaned the vent and worked to repair the problems with the crawl space vent, despite the fact that there was no access to the crawl space. They worked a long time so that the cleaning was done and the dryer safe to use now. They have given me a contact to have the dryer vented, bypassing the crawl space. Given their able workmanship, I will be in touch with the person recommended to revent the dryer. Appreciated their concern for safe dryer operation.

My husband, Jim, and I are very satisfied with the service from Safety King. Our ducts hadn’t been cleaned since our home was built in 1972. Bill and Steve came and did a very thorough job, complimented the quality of ducts we had and what good shape they were in. They also helped Jim with a problem our dryer vent had. David and Stephen did a nice job. I was not home but my wife was and she had no issues and was pleased. We have used your service before. Only complaint is that my furnace electronic cells we left on the floor. Also my dirty air filter which is fine. But someone should have told my wife. I also have a whole box of new filters that were there and you could have reinstalled that as well.

I had another company had to wait for three weeks for a duct cleaning date and when they did arrive they told me they couldn’t do the job as because parking for the truck was too far away from my condo . I called Safety King ad was able to schedule a appointment for the NEXT DAY! The crew arrived, and they too said they couldn’t do the job that day because of the parking and distance, but they could do the job, just needed another truck. Within about a hour of that I received a call from Cathy to schedule the duct cleaning for first thing the next day. the crew, Bill and Steve P arrived first thing in the morning with 2 trucks, and were in and out within a couple of hours. Very polite and professional organization, very neat crew, footies over their shoes and left the place spotless. Details: this was my first experience with duct cleaning and like so many others I’ve been told different things about the value of duct cleaning. The crew took before and after pictures. Before I could have grown plants in my ducts, after the ducts look like new, same applies to the furnace. More to the point is my family suffers from allergies, and after the cleaning the random runny noses, sneezing episodes and nasal congestion have all but stopped in the house. My opinion; worth every penny of the cost of the cleaning.

Had ducts cleaned by Safety King (Bill T. and Vernon G.). Very professional from office call(Kerry P.) to the time they left my house. They were extra clean and did what they said was going to be done. The guys were at my house for 7 straight hours. They took pictures of before and after cleaning. I had cleaning done at my last house and it was cheaper than Safety King. The last company took 2 hours and it was 2 guys and oversized shop vac. They did not do a good job, did not access duct work and left basement dirty and dusty. Safety King went above and beyond what I expected and I will use them again in the future. Kevin T.
