Adam Spano, one of our most experienced licensed technicians, recently recorded video of an actual residential air duct cleaning. In this unedited clip, you will see him using an agitation tool called a Whip inside an air duct. This tool dislodges dust and debris inside an air duct by vibrating against the interior surfaces. Safety King’s powerful vacuum truck is attached to the air duct by an 8″ diameter vacuum hose further down the air duct away from the camera. This vacuum hookup induces a strong air stream that carries away the dust dislodged by the whip, drawing it into the vacuum hose to be captured outside in the truck.
