Improved Comfort: Eliminate Hot & Cold Spots and Improve the Temperature Balance in your Home with Aeroseal

Varying Room Temperatures

Insulating ducts and air duct sealing can help with common comfort problems, such as rooms that are too hot in the summer or too cold in the winter.

Leaky ducts significantly contribute to the warmth and cooling of a home. Even the most energy-efficient heating and cooling systems cannot effectively control the amount of comfort you experience in your living spaces if there are leaking ducts.

The loss of cool and warm air to the wrong places inside, outside or in the unconditioned spaces of a home is significantly reduced with Aeroseal duct sealing because our patented sealing technology seals the ducts airtight.

With Aeroseal, hard to heat or cool rooms will have more even temperatures and will be more comfortable. Humidity levels are also easier to control after an Aeroseal. Duct cleaning and sealing with Aeroseal will produce better air quality for your home.

Wouldn’t You Repair a Leaky Water Pipe or Holes in Your Gas Tank?

Aeroseal Duct Sealing is a patented breakthrough technology that tackles air duct leaks from the inside out.

Reducing leakage by up to 90% or more, Aeroseal software allows the technician to accurately measure the duct leakage in residential homes and commercial buildings.

The Aeroseal process puts escaping air under pressure and causes polymer particles to stick first to the edges of a leak, then to each other until leaks up to 5/8″ wide are closed. Saving you money, improving indoor air quality and improving comfort.

Aeroseal Duct Sealing Can Save You Money!

The energy savings resulting from the reduced air duct leakage can be significant.  Leaky ducts mean that your expensive “high-efficiency” equipment is not performing as efficiently as you expect.  It runs more frequently and for longer periods of time.  In addition to wasting your energy dollars it is more wear and tear on your equipment.

On average, 30 cents of every $1 spent on heating and cooling a house never makes it into your living space. Sealing ductwork has a potential savings 5 times greater than upgrading your windows and is the #1 thing you can do in your home to save money on your heating and cooling.

In addition to energy savings, other benefits of reduced air duct leakage include more even temperatures in all rooms, improved indoor air quality, and reduction of odors and fumes.

Safety King’s 5 Step Aeroseal Process:

  1. Cover wall and floor registers so air can escape only through leaks

  2. Pre-sealing leak test

  3. Manually seal accessible leak points.

  4. Inject sealant into the ducts as needed for up to one hour.  (Small aerosol particles are suspended in the airflow by continuous air movement.  Particles collide with and adhere to leak point edges as the air stream makes a sharp turn to exit through a leak (only 1 – 2 ounces of the sealant material remain in the ducts after sealing)    **System takes continuous ongoing leak measurements.

  5. Post-sealing leak test and print a computer-generated analysis showing measurements of air duct leakage before, during, and after Aeroseal duct sealing process.
